Pen Drive Write Protection Problems!
I found a simple solution to enable your Pen Drive or USB Drive from write protection. I have been asked from a lot of friend about to release the lock. I search everywhere but found out that their solution didn't work. From the suggestion to use 'chkdsk f: /F' to using the safe mode and also use the Storage Administration. But all that cannot resolve the problems.... when you try to format or adjust it... the error message " Write Protection" keep appear. My first advive before u proceed with my solution... to copy over and backup the whole data first... Then.. Download a program.. this programs I only give to who require it... so leave your comment here and I'll show you how to do it....

My pen drive is Transend.
I got a tool at Transend web site that unlocked the drive and delete te partition, so I was able to reformat the pen drive. This tool is supposed to solve the problem without reformating, but I got an error.
Since the pendrive was already unlocked I finnished the job!!

Hi i am sadanand sharma i have 4gb transcent pendrive today i found that it is write protected and i am unable to copy in this drive so please help to disable write protection for your information i never protected it from regedit.

I too have the same problem. but i have a solution for this bug. load windows xp cd in drive and plug in the pen drive now restart the system and boot from the cd. now you will see the window for selecting the drive for windows setup. now scroll down to highlight the pen drive volume now delete the partition and format the drive . now remove unplug the pen drive and cancel the windows setup. restart the computer and check your pen drive with it. if it works or not tell me by mail (rajneeshspatyal@gmail.com)
